Anyone is a big fan of chinese food ?
If you are, had you heard of Din Tai Fung ?
Din Tai Fung was originated from Taiwan, now it's available in Malaysia.

The New York Times, 1993 has rated Din Tai Fung as among the top ten restaurants of the world, the only Asian Restaurant on the list.
The Pavillion branch has been voted as the top Chinese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.
In 2013, Din Tai Fung was ranked No 1 in the "101 Best Restaurants in Asia" list which released by US-based food website, The Daily Meal; and the world's second best chain for travellers by CNN.

Now, Din Tai Fung is have many branches around the world like Japan, US, South Korea and more.

For today, we had a visit to Din Tai Fung's Empire Subang Branch.

Lemongrass Juice
It's refreshing and love the soft scents of the lemongrass smell.

Interior look for the shop,
It's a typical chinese restaurat designed interior thus it is spacious where it can be suitable for family and friends gathering while having good chinese food !

At Din Tai Fung, they serve up a tantalizing selection of delicious Shanghainese appetizers.
Okay, here goes our appetizer
Din Tai Fung House Special
RM6.90
It's a mixture of some chilies, bean sprouts, julienne seaweed with some light dressing, although it's cold but it's good for some munching before meals.

Shaoshing Wine Marinated Chicken

Xiao Long Bao
Din Tai Fung's signature food as they are well known for their Xiao Long Bao.
The art of making Xiao Long Bao is a delicate process. The flour wrap must be of a certain consistency. If too thick the dumpling will be doughly but if too think it will break easily.
Even the soup within cannot be too abundant or too greasy; nor the meat be overcooked.

Here's a video for all to watch how to get the best taste for the sauce for xiao long bao

To enjoy your xiao long bao just put few shred of the ginger on top of the xiao long bao to get the best taste.

It's perfectly made as it doesn't break easily thus the skin is just fairly good not too thick :)
At Din Tai Fung, each xiao long bao is wrapped in delicate and each dumpling has at least 18 exquisite folds. They are steamed to perfection thus the meat filling within is plump and juicy to the bite. Furthermore every xiao long bao they serve is made fresh to order !

The amount of the shrimp is very generous thus you can really feel the shrimps are fresh as it's chewy and juicy with every bite !

Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk
RM34.50
This is my favourite among all !
JENG !
Juicy in the inside crunchy at the outside !

Stir-fried Baby String Beans with Minced Pork
RM21.50

Fragrant Spring Onion and Shredded Pork Noodle
RM16.50
You should mix all the ingredients together before eating it.
They use La Mian as their noddle . La Mian means hand-pulled noodles.
They used their very own secret recipe which incorporates imported wheat flour to ensure that the La Mian they served is springy.

Spicy Vegetable and Pork Wonton
RM11 (6pcs)
Those who loves spicy food can go for this.
For me i personally think the spiciness level is acceptable as i loves to eat spicy stuff.

Steamed Red Bean Dumpling
RM8.50 (6pcs)
For dessert, we were served with red bean and taro dumpling.
The filling of the red bean sweetness level is just nice not too sweet :)

Steamed Taro Dumpling

For those who prefer not so sweet dessert you may opt to taro dumplings.

The food they served were all healthy as they use less oil and less salt to cook.
